ABOUT

As a person

As a child, Michael often described himself as loquacious. It wasn't because he enjoyed hearing his own voice, rather that he enjoyed interaction. As he grew older, Michael's intrest in talking gained a purpose: helping people. Michael plans on  using the skills he learned through theater to study education in university. His wish is to help instill the confidence he gained through theatre in others.

Michael also enjoys imersion in foreign cultures. As of now, he speaks three languages, and plans on learning, at the least, two more.

As an artist

Theater and music have been strong influences in the life of Michael. He began performing at the age of eight in the Denver Public Schools Shakespeare Festival. That same year is when he first picked up a guitar, and thus his career as an artist was born. Michael is a trained educator in elementary theater. He teaches the Shakespeare program at Dennison Montisori. On the other end of the classroom, Michael has been studing all aspects of theater as well as jazz and classical guitar for almost nine years. For a list of varius shows he's preformed in, see Resume
